​Heartsaver Total First Aid CPR AED
Heartsaver Total is a comprehensive, regulatory-compliant course designed entirely for general industries where personnel must remain prepared for medical emergencies.

Audience
Teachers, daycare providers, security guards, flight attendants, construction workers, corporate safety teams, and general citizens.

Core Competencies

• Foundational first aid interventions

• Basic, single-rescuer adult/child/infant CPR

• Medical emergencies (asthma, allergic reactions, diabetes)

• Injury emergencies (severe bleeding, broken bones, sprains)

• Environmental emergencies (heat stroke, bites, stings)

Class Format

• Traditional fully in-person classroom event

• Blended course (completing modules online and finishing with a hands-on physical testing session)

• Approximately 3.5 to 5 hours depending on the specific combination of modules selected (Adult, Child, and Infant)

Certification
To secure the OSHA-compliant 2-year eCard, students must perform clean, flawless demonstrations during the hands-on practical skills testing. The written exam is generally optional for Heartsaver unless specified by an employer or state agency.

Heartsaver Basic
A streamlined, flexible training track designed for individuals who want to learn essential life-saving skills but do not require standard workplace or OSHA regulatory certification. Built on the updated science guidelines, it provides a shorter, more adaptable curriculum compared to Heartsaver Total.

Audience
General community volunteers, home caregivers, office personnel in low-risk environments, and individuals seeking personal preparedness.

Class Format

Blended Learning

• Complete the cognitive Heartsaver Basic Online Modules independently (approximately 2 to 3 hours), then attend an in-person Hands-On Skills Session.

Traditional Classroom

• Fully instructor-led, video-driven classroom event where practice, coaching, and testing occur live in a physical training center.

Certification
Successful completion awards an official 2-year AHA eCard.

Heartsaver for K-12 Schools
Structurally identical to the standard Heartsaver course but features an aggressive, heavily discounted pricing model specifically negotiated to support school systems.

Audience
K-12 school students (often to meet state graduation mandates), faculty, coaches, teachers, and school administrative staff.

• Choking relief across all age brackets

• Basic campus first aid

Class Format
Standard Heartsaver course.

Certification
Passing students receive an official, 2-year regulatory eCard.

Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens
Focuses strictly on infectious disease containment and safety protocols. It does not cover CPR or First Aid.

Audience
Personnel with an inherent operational risk of encountering blood or bodily fluids, such as tattoo artists, correctional officers, school janitors, housekeepers, and daycare staff.

Core Competencies

PACT Framework

• Protect: Utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like gloves and shields.

• Act: Safely managing an accidental biohazard puncture or exposure.

• Clean: Properly decontaminating a spill site using approved chemical agents.

• Tell: Explicitly reporting the exposure incident to a company supervisor.

Class Format
Completed in about 1 hour entirely online or in a classroom.

Certification
Formal certificate of completion.
