AVAILABLE COURSES

1. ​​K12 | Heart saver CPR AED Classroom The Heartsaver for K-12 Schools eCard is the digital version of the Heartsaver for K-12 Schools printed course completion card. It is a valid, more secure, and preferred alternative to the printed card. Heartsaver for K-12 Schools eCards should be issued to students and school faculty who successfully complete Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Heartsaver CPR AED, or Heartsaver First Aid courses in K-12 schools.

2. The Heartsaver First Aid e-Learning & Classroom Heartsaver First Aid Online offers the convenience of digital learning. The eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid blended learning course is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session (sold separately) with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.

3. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED e-Learning & Classroom The Heartsaver® CPR AED Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years. Heartsaver CPR AED Course provides the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use an AED. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

4. Heartsaver First Aid e-Learning & Classroom Course provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community.

   Topics covered include:

   • First Aid Basics

   • Medical Emergencies

   • Injury Emergencies

   • Environmental Emergencies

5. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Topics include first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, optional first aid topics, and CPR and AED.

6. Opioid Education
   Opioid Education for Healthcare Providers is a self-directed, eLearning course is for use by a single student that includes modules such as recognition and treatment of opioid overdose (use of CPR and reversal agents), details of the opioid epidemic and opioid use disorder, pathophysiology of pain and opioids leading to addiction, and managing acute pain with alternative pain management options.

7. Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

1. For those with a duty to respond to cardiac emergencies because of job responsibilities of regulatory requirements.

2. For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

3. For those who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

4. For those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities of regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, and coaches for children's sports organizations.
